During the season premiere of Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer,” Julia Louis-Dreyfus joins Patricia Arquette and Tina Fey as they raise a glass in celebration of Louis-Dreyfus’ “last fuckable day.”

“In every actress’s life, the media decides when you finally reach the point where you’re not believably fuckable anymore,” Louis-Dreyfus explains to a bewildered Schumer.

No one tells you, Fey says. But there are signs.

— You may be watching one movie with Sally Field as Tom Hanks’ love interest and then a few months later, she’s playing his mother.

— The poster for your new movie is a picture of a kitchen.

— “Another common sign is when they start remaking your movies with younger, more fuckable actresses,” Arquette says, explaining that 22-year-old Selena Gomez will be taking over her part in the remake of “Boyhood.”

Directed by Nicole Holofcener, the sketch brilliantly demonstrates the ageist double standard women face in Hollywood, a town that continues to pair older actors such as Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas and Tom Cruise with far younger actresses.

“Who tells men when it’s their last fuckable day?” Schumer asks. Much laughter ensues.

“Well, they’re fuckable forever,” Fey says, as she gestures suggestively with a back-and-forth motion. “They could be a hundred and nothing but white spiders coming out, but they’re fuckable.”
