Seattle Socialist Councilwoman Kshama Sawant Debates Breitbart Editor
If you’re looking to get depressed, listen to a crowd of Seattle residents cheer a couple of conservatives demanding that their fellow Americans be deprived of a measly $6 raise in the minimum wage.
The debate took place Wednesday at Seattle’s McCaw Hall and was hosted by local conservative AM radio station 770 KTTH. Sawant is joined by Rebecca Smith, deputy director of the National Employment Law Project. Opposing them are Ben Shapiro, a rising right-wing personality, radio host and editor-at-large of Breitbart News, and Paul Guppy, vice president for research of the Washington Policy Center.
