In a recent episode of “The Trews” titled “Will Obama’s Bombs Stop Beheadings?” comedian Russell Brand ponders what President Obama really means when he says the U.S. is attacking Islamic State in Syria and Iraq in order to protect “America’s core interests.” Hint: These so-called interests have a lot more to do with the 1 percent than the average American Obama supposedly is waging war to defend.

The host also draws a comparison between Obama and George W. Bush, exclaiming that “it’s beginning to look like [Obama doesn’t] have any principles at all.” Watch as Brand analyzes the president’s recent speech on IS and tears apart the rhetoric bit by bit to reveal the brutality that got us into this mess in the first place.
