Comedian-actor-writer Russell Brand talked about spirituality, civil rights, drug addiction, corporate totalitarianism, the global environment, politics and revolution with students at Cambridge University in England last week. Names such as David Cameron, Naomi Klein and Kalki Krishnamurthy popped up in the wide-ranging conversation, and, as expected, Brand interspersed the serious subjects with bits of comedy. He also made some controversial comments that drew criticism from certain quarters.
