House GOP Votes (Again) to Repeal Obamacare:

House Republicans on Wednesday will once again push a vote to repeal President Obama’s health care law. It’s the 33rd time they’ve done so since Obama signed the law in March 2010. As before, it will go nowhere in the Democratic-controlled Senate. Even in the unlikely event it did go somewhere, it’s highly doubtful the president would sign something negating his own law. Hey, Republicans: If at first you don’t succeed and you try and try again, it might be time to give up already. (Read more)

Taxes Hit New Low Under Obama: You know how conservatives and the tea party keep saying that President Obama is raising everyone’s taxes, and that taxes are higher than they’ve ever been? Gay Marriage Referendum Makes Maryland Ballot: Same-sex marriage will be put to a vote in Maryland after opponents got more than enough signatures to qualify a referendum for the ballot. The state’s recently passed marriage equality law doesn’t kick in until 2013. Still, same-sex marriage supporters have reason to expect that they will come out on top, since polls show a majority of Marylanders are opposed to a ban. (Read more)

Video of the Day: Mitt Romney gave a speech to the NAACP on Wednesday. The highlight — or at least, the video that’s made its way around the Internet — is Romney getting booed when he tells the crowd that he would repeal Obamacare.
