If Gov. Rick Perry calls another special session to attempt to pass a state Senate bill that would make legal abortion virtually impossible in Texas, he and his cohorts would face another surge of popular protest, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards said Wednesday.

“With the thousands of people who were mobilized this time around, they will be doubly that way if in fact Gov. [Rick Perry] tries to push [the bill] through again in another special session,” Richards told “Democracy Now!” “And if he does, we’ll be ready.”
