The surprising October snowstorm Saturday showed that winter’s chill is fast descending on protesters encamped in New York City’s Liberty Plaza. Will they stay or will they go? Donations of hats, boots, socks, gloves and other winter clothes are coming in, and the campers are working to find ways to stay warm and powered after the NYPD took six generators away from them Friday.
