The Webby Awards were held Monday night in the posh Cipriani ballroom (once the lobby of the bank that would become Citi) on Wall Street. Truthdig Editor Robert Scheer took the opportunity to stick it to the neighborhood.

For the uninitiated, Webby winners are held to a strict five-word limit for their speeches. It’s pretty difficult to say something profound, relevant or even just funny in that space, but we think Bob did a great job.

You can watch all the winners, including Arianna Huffington, Roger Ebert and Buzz Aldrin, here.

Once again, big thanks to the Webbys for honoring us as the best political blog and to all our writers, readers and staff members who make it possible.
