Moammar Gadhafi Would Test Teenagers for STDs Before Raping Them in His Sex Dungeons

We all know the late Libyan dictator was a deplorable man, but now, thanks to a BBC documentary released Monday, more details of his depravity have come to light. Among the most harrowing occurrences uncovered are the kidnapping and rape of hundreds of boys and girls as young as 14 years old. After being chosen by the dictator on visits to schools and colleges, the teens were then taken to his specially designed rape chambers, one of which could be found in Tripoli University along with a gynecological suite where girls were tested for diseases before being abused by Col. Moammar Gadhafi.

The documentary, titled “Mad Dog: Gaddafi’s Secret World,” also revealed other grotesque acts, such as his orders to shoot down a Libyan Arab Airlines airplane, resulting in the deaths of 157 people.

International Business Times:

“Some were only 14,” recalled one teacher at a Tripoli school. “They would simply take the girl they wanted. They had no conscience, no morals, not an iota of mercy, even though she was a mere child.”…Some were held for years, while others were dumped with appalling injuries.

“One just disappeared and they never found her again, despite her father and brothers searching for her. Another was found three months later, cut, raped and lying in the middle of a park. She had been left for dead.”

Many would only speak to the film-makers on condition of anonymity, terrified of reprisals from those still loyal to the dictator, who was dragged from a drainpipe and shot by rebels in 2011.

Some victims were then drafted into ‘the Haris al-Has’ — private female bodyguard — enduring years of rape and abused and forced to witness the execution of opponents to the regime.
