The ethics committee dropped its investigation after the New York freshman resigned this week. Boehner cited Politico and Washington Post stories that said the House speaker’s office knew about the allegations in October. If so, that raises the question: What did her office do about it?

If former Rep. Eric Massa hoped he'd get a post-resignation PR boost from his guest spot on Glenn Beck's Fox News show Tuesday, he made some bad choices in his quest for support. Those included his selection of venue and his whimsical approach to clearing up the sexual harassment issue that played a key part in his strange, memorable exit from office.
Rep. Eric Massa isn't about to leave Capitol Hill without firing some zingers at fellow Democrats. He had special scorn for House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who helped get Massa elected. (continued)
