Many Thanks to the Best Supporters on the Internet

We were reminded Sunday of the twin facts that make Truthdig possible. One, we have great writers like Chris Hedges, who can bring a capacity crowd to its feet while quoting Herman Melville. (The man is truly a great public intellectual.) We also have the best readers, listeners and donors in the business. Smart, informed and willing to pay a little bit to get in on a decent conversation.

Thanks to all of you, whether you give paper money, well wishes or just your attention, who keep us going. Thanks to the hundreds who came to see Chris speak in person on Sunday. (We’ll have video and audio for you as soon as we can, so if that interests you let us know.) Thanks also to the many donors who gave online, sometimes just what they could afford, sometimes even more, when we really needed it. Truthdig is people powered, and we literally couldn’t do it without you.
