‘Left, Right & Center:’ A Dismal Jobs Report and the Morning After Pill
Truthdig Editor-in-Chief Robert Scheer and the other "Left, Right & Center" panelists discuss the depressing jobs report, unrestricted birth control, California Attorney General Kamala Harris' looks and Social Security.
A depressing jobs report shows 88,000 jobs created in March, way below 236,000 last month. It looks like a stalled recovery and a tale of two economies. A federal judge rules the “morning after pill” should be available over the counter to everyone, regardless of age. President Barack Obama says California Attorney General Kamala Harris is brilliant, and “the best-looking attorney general.” The White House previews a budget with cuts to social services. And the commentators offer a tribute to Roger Ebert and his negative movie reviews.
