Typically reported as a former chief of staff to Vice Presidents Joe Biden and Al Gore, Klain was named Friday by President Obama as Ebola Response Coordinator (aka the “Ebola Czar”).
He’s probably best known to the average American as the central character of the HBO movie “Recount.” Kevin Spacey played Klain as the heroic figure at the center of the 2000 presidential election meltdown.
Other than that he has a pretty typical Washington resume, including a bit of lobbying. According to Wikipedia, “Klain helped Fannie Mae overcome ‘regulatory issues.’ “
