Jon Stewart Explains Why Republicans Aren’t the Only Politicians Who Are Corrupt

Despite Nancy Pelosi, minority leader of the House of Representatives, personally telling the “Daily Show” host that only Republicans are swayed by money, Stewart has a few examples in the shape of ambassador nominees that prove otherwise.

For instance, isn’t it a bit strange, the pundit points out, that many of the president’s ambassador appointees have never set foot in the countries they’ll soon be diplomats in, and yet raised quite a bit a money for Obama’s campaign? Perhaps worse is that some of them don’t even know a thing about the nations, such as the nominee for China who, Stewart jokes, has at least played Chinese checkers.
