“My goal is to make games that have social and political relevance,” Nick Marroni says. To that end, he has created a satirical iPhone game called “iBailout!!” You play as the “Fed,” a robot that eats money. Just don’t let the angry mob get you.

Actually, Marroni reveals, “The Fed can never win in the game.” He says he wishes reality would be the same.

Marroni says video games are not yet appreciated like other media, but they will be. He doesn’t want to just preach to the choir; he wants to put his socially conscious games in front of a mainstream audience and attract players who might not normally engage with politics and activism.
