Milton Glaser has designed a new logo for the climate change movement to go with a set of awareness-raising buttons and the social media hashtag “itsnotwarming.”

You can order the buttons here, and view an animated version of the logo. The message is clear: The globe isn’t warming, it’s dying.

George Carlin might have something to say about that (see below). Nonetheless, we could use a little drama on the issue.

The United Nations will host a climate summit this September in New York — a city that is expected to sink one day beneath rising sea levels — and we expect the usual not much at all.
