Herman Cain to Protesters: ‘Blame Yourself!’
Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain condemned the Occupy Wall Street protests in an interview in The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, saying it was nothing but a ploy to distract the public from the "failed policies of the Obama administration."
Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain condemned the Occupy Wall Street protests in an interview in The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, saying it was nothing but a ploy to distract the public from the “failed policies of the Obama administration.”
But while other Republicans haven’t exactly been coy about their own disdain for the protests, Cain took it a step further, saying the protesters have only themselves to blame for their economic hardships.
“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks,” Cain said. “If you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself!” –BF

When asked by host Alan Murray if he thought the banks had any responsibility for the nation’s current economical climate, Cain replied, “They did having something to do with the crisis in 2008, but we’re not in 2008, we’re in 2011!”
