He answered the call, explaining that it probably was his wife.
It was.
“Hello, dear,” the former mayor said. “I’m talking to the members of the NRA right now. Would you like to say hello?”
She apparently declined, because he kept the call short.
“Talk to you later, dear. I love you,” Giuliani said, ending the call as the laughing audience applauded.
