GOP Bankroller’s Daughter Gets Violent With Reporters

A woman identified as the daughter of billionaire GOP financier Sheldon Adelson pushed a “Democracy Now!” reporter before grabbing the crew’s camera, throwing it to the floor and disappearing into one of the Republican National Convention hall’s corporate suites.
The woman is seen stopping in a hallway jammed with delegates, reporters and security staff. “Democracy Now!” senior producer Mike Burke is immediately behind her. After Burke attempts to ask Adelson how much he’ll spend on the election this year, a combative female voice is heard, the camera capturing the scene shakes, and Burke tells bystanders the woman backed into him. Then the camera is grabbed by the woman and ends up on the floor moments later.
