The Massachusetts senator went on “The Daily Show” on Tuesday night to talk about “A Fighting Chance,” her new book, but ended up explaining all the things that are terribly wrong with our country these days. And though Jon Stewart points out that it seems futile to try to enact change, Warren responds with powerful ebullience and concrete examples of how she’s already helped change the face of politics in a two-part interview that shouldn’t be missed.

One of the highlights is Stewart asking her whether she’s treated differently in politics because she’s a woman, to which Warren exclaims a perfunctory, “Yep.” However, she does point out that modifications to the Senate chambers have been made in the form of a larger ladies’ room.
