The debate over the legitimacy of these machines is a strange one. On the one hand you have the politicians and government officials who certify the machines insisting that they are safe and reliable. On the other: the bloggers, engineers and technology buffs who?ve been documenting the vulnerabilities of these devices for years. When people who organize their lives around technology celebrate the paper ballot, they may be worth listening to.
