NBC has been taking heat for scheduling a book-pushing session with Ann Coulter, but according to the author, her “Today” show appearances have been canceled. Drudge adds that “insiders” at the Peacock say the network has banned ol’ skin and bones for good, though that seems too good to be true.

Coulter was a guest on the Fox News show “Hannity and Colmes” tonight, where she harshly criticized NBC for canceling her planned appearance on the “Today” show. The controversial author accused the network of orchestrating a “set up to block me from other TV shows.”

Coulter was reportedly offered a spot on Wednesday’s show but she shrugged off the offer: “I think I’ll accept and then cancel at the last minute.”
