The four-legged Wildcat is being developed with funding from DARPA, one of the American government’s premier military technology and advanced weapons agencies. The robot is seen in the video below sprinting at a full 16 miles per hour, which is probably a good deal faster than you can run over any considerable distance. The developers say it can move over all types of terrain. We’ll let your imagination fill in the rest.
