‘Colbert Report’: Laura Ingraham Gets Owned

So, conservative talk radio starlet Laura Ingraham showed up on “The Colbert Report” Tuesday night, despite the fact that the show’s host had once dubbed her “Ichabod Crane’s banshee widow,” to plug her new book, “The Obama Diaries.” How’d she do?

Not so well, from where we sit. Although she was certainly dressed to sass in tangerine, with a makeup and hairdo combo that was all “I’m a tigress!,” she flubbed her Ichabod Crane refutation moment and failed to wrest control from a gleeful Colbert after he began slamming the “terrible” writing and “hideous, hackneyed, racial stereotypes” in Ingraham’s faux-bama memoir. But hey, at least Joe Biden still thinks she’s hot. –KA
