Moving swiftly to defend his name as ghosts of sexual harassment claims past revisited him, GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain made the bold move Monday to go on Fox News for a little PR exorcism aided by the Murdochian news network.

Cain was unequivocal in denying that he engaged in “sexually suggestive behavior” during his time as head of the National Restaurant Association in the mid-’90s, despite the accusations of two unnamed women that reportedly led to settlements, of which Cain claimed he was unaware until the story surfaced on Politico on Sunday night. Now that the Cain Train is picking up speed, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO attempted to deflect future attempts to slow his roll by declaring that there won’t be any other similar surprises down the line, since any other allegations “will be trumped-up allegations.” –KA

“I’ve never sexually harassed anyone, and yes, I was falsely accused while I was at the National Restaurant Association, and I say falsely, because it turned out, after the investigation, to be baseless,” he said on Fox News.

“It is totally baseless, and totally false, never have I committed any sort of sexual harassment,” he added.
