ABC is planning to air a six-hour ?docudrama? on the fifth anniversary of 9/11 that lays the lion?s share of the blame for the Sept. 11 attacks on President Clinton.

  • As ThinkProgress has noted, the film?s writer is an avowed conservative activist who, in an interview, did not once refer to Bush?s complicity in ignoring warning signs of the impending attack.
  • Using the cover that “our film is not a documentary,” the film perpetuates several long-disproved myths and misleading statements. (Here and here)
  • Despite the film?s inaccuracies, ABC is planning on sending 100,000 copies to schoolchildren.
  • Also, ABC sent out advance screener copies to conservatives, but not to progressive opinion makers. Predictably, Rush Limbaugh and his ilk are going ga-ga over the movie.
