Bain Capital’s Death Squad Ties, Limbaugh Talks Fluke (Again), and More
A look at the day's political happenings, including Bill Clinton ripping Mitt Romney and details on the extremist views of the victor of Tuesday's GOP Senate primary in Missouri.Clinton Blasts Romney:
Former President Bill Clinton is taking on Mitt Romney over a campaign commercial that claims Barack Obama wants to reverse welfare reforms enacted during the Clinton administration. The ad accuses Obama of trying to roll back a federal work requirement for those on welfare. Romney’s claim was simply “not true,” the former president said. “The (Obama) administration has taken important steps to ensure that the work requirement is retained and that waivers will be granted only if a state can demonstrate that more people will be moved into work under its new approach.” Nice try though, Mitt. Audio of the Day: And hey, speaking of Limbaugh and Planned Parenthood, he’s back to talking about Sandra Fluke (the law student he famously called a “slut”), this time taking credit for her introduction of President Obama at a fundraiser in Colorado. Facepalm.
