Any number of countries could take home the gold in this year’s anti-gay games. India, Uganda and Nigeria are all vying to pass the most disgustingly homophobic law. And then there’s Russia, the host of this year’s games, which is determined to pretend it won’t harm any members of the LGBT community as long as they “leave the kids alone.”
But there’s another nation you may not have predicted could win: the good ol’ USA.
