Prancing With Tom DeLay

As “The Daily Show” recounts, some conservatives, at least the type who attended last weekend’s Values Voter Summit, officially have an issue with homosexuality (paging former Miss California Carrie Prejean). So Jon Stewart finds former GOP ringleader Tom “The Hammer” DeLay’s sassy cha-cha number on Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars” a bit puzzling.

DeLay Wins Texas GOP Primary

The scandal-laden former House majority leader beat three challengers to win the nod.
Guess it’s pretty hard to remove an 11-term congressman from power in Texas. Even when he’s under criminal indictment for money laundering.

Jack, Not Iraq, Is the Biggest Threat to Bush

Prediction: It’s the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal, not Iraq, that will unravel the Bush empire. Abramoff will follow the lead of his partner, Michael Scanlon, in copping a plea bargain with prosecutors, whose likely targets include Tom DeLay, many other congressional Republicans and key players in the administration.
