Joe Conason: White House Guilt in CIA Leak Case Remains

Stephanopoulos: Rove Wants to Help Lieberman

The ABC News host reports: “According to a close Lieberman adviser, the President’s political guru, Karl Rove, has reached out to the Lieberman camp with a message straight from the Oval Office: ‘The boss wants to help. Whatever we can do, we will do.’ ”
Quelle surprise….

  • Also, top Senate Dems Schumer, Reid and Dodd throw their support to Lamont (but stop short of calling on Lieberman to drop his independent bid).

Daily Kos: Why Lieberman Website Crashed

Aides to Sen. Joe Lieberman accused Ned Lamont’s campaign Tuesday morning—with no evidence—of attacking and bringing down Lieberman’s website. But Markos (of Daily Kos) seems to have found the real culprit: Lieberman’s $15-a-month web hosting company went down, along with all its clients. (Thanks to reader “publius” for the link.)
    Check out Lieberman’s unfounded accusations
What an oddly petty conclusion to a race that has hinged on the most consequential of all topics.

This is not a huge deal, relatively speaking, but certainly of interest to Plamegate junkies….
