Abracadabra! Orthodoxy

An obvious Photoshop job in Israel has hilariously tried to make Israel’s inaugural Cabinet a bit more Orthodox. In one ultra-Orthodox Jewish newspaper, two female Cabinet members were cropped out of an official picture and replaced with two non-Cabinet men.

Photoshopping Military Might

Charges against Iran’s Sepah News for digitally altering a photo of the country’s missile tests on Wednesday arose Friday after analysts discovered what is clearly a Photoshopped extra missile in an image released by the media arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. The image, which was used by the L.A. Times and the Chicago Tribune on their front pages, was later retracted.

Fox Sinks to New Lows

Fox News apparently doesn’t handle bad publicity very well. In response to a New York Times story that suggested the network’s ratings might be slipping, the co-hosts of “Fox & Friends” cried foul, broadcasting photos of Times reporter Jacques Steinberg and editor Steven Reddicliffe. The problem? The “news” channel had doctored the pictures to make the journos appear less attractive.
