Not one to mince words, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann ripped into President Bush for beating the WWIII war drums about Iran months after the gist of the NIE report on Iran was known to the White House:  “It is the nightmare scenario of political science fiction: a critical juncture in our history and ... a president manifestly unfit to serve and, behind him in the vice presidency, an unapologetic warmonger who has long been seeing a world visible only to himself.”

MSNBC announced it will no longer air “Imus in the Morning,” as the uproar over the radio host’s racist comment continues and several prominent sponsors withdrew advertising. CBS, which controls the radio version of Imus’ show, has not said whether it too will cancel the program or merely stick with a suspension.

    O’Reilly Threatens Caller re Olbermann

    Bill O’Reilly and MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann have been feuding for a while now (background story here, a video example, and another clip), and on Thursday, when a caller to O’Reilly’s show merely mentioned Olbermann’s name, Bill cut the line and said, “We have your phone number and we’re going to turn it over to Fox security, and you’re going to get a visit”—as though the caller was threatening O’Reilly—when in fact O’Reilly was threatening the caller!
