Inquest: Driver, Paparazzi at Fault in Diana ‘Manslaughter’

An inquest jury in Britain has officially concluded that Princess Diana and her companion, Dodi Al Fayed, were killed in a 1997 car crash in Paris as a result of “gross negligence manslaughter” by their chauffeur, Henri Paul, and the paparazzi.

U.S. Illegally Shot Journalist

A coroner has ruled the fatal shooting of an already wounded British journalist by U.S. troops to be an “unlawful act.”  Though it refused to take part in the inquest, the Pentagon defended the shooting: “We have always gone to extreme measures to avoid civilian casualties and collateral damage.”
