“You know that line, ‘guns don’t kill people, people kill people?’ It’s true, so far as it goes,” writes Ezra Klein on The Washington’s Post Wonkblog. “But in the United States, when people decide to kill people, or kill themselves, they typically reach for a gun.”
Frugality? Check. Family values? Check. Sound reasoning? Nope. Mitt Romney’s campaign managed to stay true to the concerns of his base while totally botching the logic behind an infographic claiming that President Obama’s management of the U.S. economy is akin to that of a family accountant gone mad.
On Monday, The Economist published an infographic showing, by millions of people hired, the world’s 10 biggest employers. The U.S. Department of Defense topped the list with 3.2 million employees.
