Berkeley Voters to Weigh Bush Impeachment

The City Council of the left-leaning Calif. municipality voted to put the question to citizens on the Nov. 7 ballot. It’s symbolic, of course, because only Congress can impeach.

  • And although some cities, like San Francisco and Oakland, have passed pro-impeachment resolutions, Berkeley will be the first city to directly ask its voters to decide.

    Vermont Democrats Call for Bush Impeachment

    One hundred Vermont state officials agreed to petition the Republican-controlled Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Bush for the WMD and wiretapping scandals. “You know in your own hearts and minds that something is terribly wrong in this country,” said one Vermont Democrat.
