VIDEO: Protester Says He Overheard Trump Supporters Saying, ‘Kill All Muslims’

In November, Donald Trump mocked as “overweight” a man whom security agents threw out of one of the presidential candidate’s rallies. But it was the violent xenophobia the man heard before the rally that really disturbed him.

Update: ‘Ukraine Is Not Ordering Its Jews to Register’

“Today, the Western press caught up with the Ukrainian rumor mill,” The New Republic reports. “Apparently, the People’s Republic of Donetsk had ordered all Jews over the age of 16 to pay a fee of $50 U.S. and register with the new ‘authorities,’ or face loss of citizenship or expulsion.”

Here to Save the Day? Not if You’re Gay

A conservative Christian group calling itself One Million Moms is up in arms about DC Comics’ decision to reveal that one of its well-known characters is gay. The organization is demanding the publisher reverse its decision, because if Superman wants to kiss men, so will your son.

New York’s Paladino Hates on Gays

Carl Paladino has made a joke of the New York governor’s race, but on Sunday the tea party candidate showed he could be hateful as well. Speaking to a group of Orthodox Jews just days after it was reported that two teenagers and an adult were tortured nearby in the Bronx for being gay, Paladino said children should not be “brainwashed” into thinking homosexuality is “equally valid.” (continued)

Why Do They Hate the West So Much, We Will Ask

So once again, Israel has opened the gates of hell to the Palestinians. Forty civilian refugees dead in a United Nations school, three more in another. Not bad for a night’s work in Gaza by the army that believes in “purity of arms”. But why should we be surprised?

Ann Coulter Still Hates John Edwards

What is Ann Coulter’s beef with John Edwards? The human scandal factory who once referred to the candidate as a “faggot” has re-emerged from hate radio silence to suggest that she should have said she hoped Edwards would be killed by terrorists. We already know nothing she says should be taken seriously, so why is “Good Morning America” giving her a soapbox?

Hallelujah! Spanish Leader Snubs Pope

More than a million worshipers in Spain showed up to hear the pope deliver a homily in which he made a veiled attack on Spain’s liberal legal attitude toward gay marriage and divorce. Conspicuously not in attendance: the Spanish prime minister. It’s apparently the first time in history that a Spanish leader has missed such an address.
Que bueno. Memo to Pope Benedict XVI: Keep on dressing up hate speech as The Good News and you’ll continue to be marginalized by more-enlightened world leaders.

Pink’s Plea to Bush

The pop star Pink stretches a bit from her standard fare with this protest song about Bush—which includes the lyrics, “How can you say no child left behind? We’re not dumb and we’re not blind…. What kind of father would take his own daughter’s rights away? What kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?”
