Nationally Themed McDonald’s Burger Causes Kerfuffle in Italy

No, it’s not shaped like a boot, but a new Italian-themed McDonald’s sandwich with the straightforward moniker “McItaly” is causing a stir in Italy, where even the nation’s agriculture minister has weighed in on the controversy. For the record, he endorses the burger and thinks those who oppose it are “ignorant Stalinists.”

Chinese ‘Penis Emporium’ Serves Up the Goods

Who knew that eating a donkey’s, er ... member is good for the skin?  Or that women should refrain from consuming animal testicles?  These could be trumped-up claims,  but the proprietor and employees of China’s Guolizhuang restaurant, a self-described “penis emporium,” stand by them, as brave BBC reporter Andrew Harding discovered on a recent culinary adventure.
