Addressing an important rights issue, President Barack Obama has written a memo ordering hospitals in the U.S. to grant to gay and lesbian partners the same visitation privileges already enjoyed by married heterosexual couples.

Just hours after Iowa’s ban on same-sex marriages was lifted by Polk County Judge Robert Hanson, the judge agreed to stay his ruling upon a request from the Polk County attorney, who will file an appeal. However, one lucky couple was able to seal the deal before the stay was granted.

Current law in Black Jack, Mo., prohibits more than three people from living together unless they are related by “blood, marriage or adoption.” The City Council rejected amending that law to include unmarried couples with children.
We’re speechless.

Foreign couples are flocking to the U.S. to take advantage of medical techniques—banned in most countries—that allow the dictation of a baby’s sex.
