On Monday, Boston responded with its vigorous spirit of community and transcendence to the cowardly terrorism that marred the marathon in 2013, coming out in record numbers for this year’s event.
The Associated Press, CNN and The Boston Globe had reported earlier in the day that a suspect was in custody.
The first tweet I saw when I checked my Twitter account Monday afternoon was a one-line plea: “Please don’t let it be a ‘Muslim.’”
