Tad Daley, ContributorTad Daley is Peace and Disarmament Fellow in the Los Angeles office of Physicians for Social Responsibility, the Nobel Laureate anti-nuclear organization. Extended bio (supplied by author): Before my present posting at PSR, I served as Issues Director for the presidential campaign of Congressman Dennis Kucinich, policy aide to the late U.S. Senator Alan Cranston, and foreign policy advisor to Congresswoman Diane Watson. Before that I spent 7 years at the RAND Corporation, where many of the nuclear theories of the Cold War were originally forged. I’ve published more than 50 op-eds and articles on politics and international policy—maybe half of them on nuclear issues—in places like the International Herald Tribune, USA TODAY, the Christian Science Monitor, the Los Angeles Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Miami Herald, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, the United Nations Chronicle, the Foreign Service Journal, and Sojourners magazine. I’ve also written frequently during the past few years for online fora such as alternet.org, commondreams.org, counterpunch.org, antiwar.com, inthenationalinterest.com, and fpif.org.
