Bio

Nick Anderson is a Pulitzer-Prize winning cartoonist based in Houston where he works for “The Huston Chronicle”. In addition to the Pulitzer-Prize, Anderson has been awarded with the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi Award (2000), National Press Foundation’s Berryman Award (2011), and the John Fischetti Award from Columbia College in Chicago (1999 and 2012).Anderson’s cartoons have been published in numerous publications including Truthdig, The New York Times, Newsweek, The Washington Post and USA Today while the cartoonist has made appearances on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor.  He has said, “An editorial cartoonist, fundamentally, should be anti-establishment. No matter which party is running the government, it is the essence of satire to question authority.”
