Jeremy Scahill, is the author of the best sellers “Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield” and “Blackwater: The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army”.

He is an award-winning investigative journalist and correspondent for the national radio and TV program Democracy Now! and The Nation, and is a Puffin Foundation Writing Fellow at The Nation Institute.

Scahill is a producer and writer of the award-winning film, Dirty Wars, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
