Ruth Rosen is the author of ?The World Split Open: How the Modern Women?s Movement Changed America? (Penguin, 2006), and is a frequent contributor to Dissent Magazine and Talking Points Memo. A journalist, Rosen has served as columnist at both the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. She teaches history at the University of California at Berkeley.
