Family members of victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center gather at a Ground Zero memorial service Saturday in New York.

By Marcia Alesan Dawkins

FRANKLIN, Tenn.—Tensions are high in Tennessee, as they have been all over our nation, in anticipation of the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Controversies abound. Mosque-building, book burning and threats of violence are making it increasingly difficult to separate what pastor/author Rick Warren is calling “church and hate.”

The list of those opposing Quran-burning is growing—Barack Obama, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates and David Petraeus, among many others. Despite the outcry that has seemingly thwarted Florida pastor Terry Jones’ plan to burn all the Qurans he can get his hands on this Saturday, the Rev. Bob Old of Springfield, Tenn., is as determined as ever to set fire to a Quran at his home this Saturday and then post a video of his action online. Perhaps Old wants people to be able to replay this image, just as the initial 9/11 images were played repeatedly. According to The Tennessean, Old’s self-proclaimed act of protest is his way of expressing his longing for a nation without Muslims. “If they want to have their religion, they can have it somewhere else,” the minister was quoted as saying.

Unfortunately, Old is not the only one who is expressing these longings. When Laurie Cardoza-Moore, the head of a group that promotes Christian-Jewish relations, was interviewed recently by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, she said she opposes the construction of an Islamic center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., because an online posting by one of the center’s board members suggested radicalism and raised suspicions about the judgment and the ties of the center’s leadership. Things became even more tense after a construction tractor on the Islamic center site was set aflame recently. I heard an indication of that tension from an acquaintance I ran into at a Franklin, Tenn., coffee shop earlier this week: She told me that “they” are here to get us and that “they” should just go “somewhere else.”

Here are the questions with which I responded: Who are “they”? And where is “somewhere else”?

For many, “they” are Arab-American men with beards and Arab-American women dressed in burqas, something straight out of “Sex and the City 2.” But according to the Pew Center, that image is not accurate. “A 56% majority of native-born Muslims are black, 31% are white, 10% are Hispanic, 11% identify as Other/Mixed Race, and 2% are Asian.” Recent CAIR and My Faith-My Voice public service announcements make this diversity visible. The fact is, no one ethnic/racial group makes up a majority among Muslim Americans. It seems that beneath much of this religious fervor against Muslims lies the more familiar story of ethnic profiling.

Square, Site wide
The “somewhere else” issue seems closely tied to our nation’s anxieties about immigration and changing demographics. In the wake of Arizona’s SB 1070 and projections of a white minority by the year 2050, the word Muslim is associated with the word foreign. This is an inaccurate perception. The Pew Center reports that “roughly two-thirds of foreign born Muslims now account for roughly 0.6% of the U.S. adult population.” So, it seems that most Muslims actually are practicing their religion somewhere other than the United States.

For those who choose to practice Islam “here” in Tennessee, there is hope. Amir Arain, spokesperson for the Islamic Center of Nashville, told The Tennessean’s Steven Hudak this week that “we will pray that God gives [the Rev. Old] wisdom.” Arain worries about America’s image in the world’s eyes, yet believes that local Muslims will not be moved away by those who do not know or understand them. “The Quran is not going to be banished by being burned. Millions of Muslims have memorized the Quran in their heart.” And, this turmoil has not stopped interfaith and intercultural dialogue. On Sept. 7, Muslims and non-Muslims joined in Nashville to break bread, communicate and promote cultural harmony. This is exactly the kind of space President Obama has urged us to create for what he called “mature” exchanges about “the divides that still exist.”

What came out of the dialogue is that Sept. 11 means a lot of things to a lot of people. It was an unforgettable day. A life-changing day. A day that left a gaping hole nine years have been unable to fill. We do that day a disservice with knee-jerk responses, unfounded accusations and intolerance. We can pay respect to the day, and those we lost, by searching out accurate information and examining ourselves. In light of this we have a choice in how we can commemorate Sept. 11 this year. We can choose to prolong the trauma we all have suffered and find the next convenient scapegoat. Or we can honor our nation and world with honest communication and an attempt at healing. We can remember that Sept. 11 happened to us all.

If we believe that 9/11 is true, there r always 2 sides to a story you want to accept. Depends on ur attitude. I reproduce ur last 2 lines,“Or we can honor our nation and world with honest communication and an attempt at healing. We can remember that Sept. 11 happened to us all.” Here again, I agree that it happened to all, but to some more and to others less and may be to our disdain, just the reverse to yet some others.

Prior discoveries are conclusive as to controlled demolition with thermite and nanothermite in the dust (microscopes plus witnesses and photos).

My question is what turns concrete, super thick steel, and humans into fine dust in seconds?  Extraordinary high temperatures.  Example, mini nuke cold fusion hydrogen device yields ten million degrees for fraction of second.  What else?

Until the full truth of 9/11 comes out, nothing will change.  Here is some original reporting from yours truly - something that even much of the Alternative Media has refused to report on:

WHO TURNED THE LIGHTS OUT, AND WHY?

On September 11, 2010, at precisely 9:11 PM, a third searchlight beam joined the two beams that have been been turned on each year to mark where the twin towers fell.  Each of the official beams for the twin towers consists of 44 ultra-high-power searchlights, arranged to form a square.  The total wattage of each beam is 250,000 watts.

The third beam - comprised of just three smaller searchlights with a total power of about 3500 watts, but still bright enough to be seen clearly alongside the two official beams - was the brainchild of architect Richard Gage, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, one of several “truth” groups comprising a specific area of expertise.

AE911T is comprised of over 1,200 credentialed architects and engineers from around the world, all of whom have signed the group’s petition seeking a new investigation into the events of 9/11.  In the case of AE911T, they have rallied largely around the collapse of WTC 7, a 47-story steel-and-concrete building.  At 5:21 on September 11, 2001, WTC 7 collapsed perfectly into its own footprint at free fall speed, despite not having been hit by a plane, having sustained only minor damage from the falling debris of the north tower, and having only a handful of relatively small fires in the building.  And although official reports claim that no one died in the collapse of WTC 7, there is evidence to suggest that this is not true, and that at least one person, and maybe more, did perish at WTC 7.

The third beam was lit to mark the collapse of WTC 7, just as the two “official” beams mark the collapse of the twin towers.  At first, authorities at the scene did not know hwo to react.  It was clear that law enforcement personnel were loath to shut down the beam, likely fearing that the on-site media (there covering the annual reading of the names of the dead, the protests for and against the Islamic center, and the lighting of the beams) would only have a more worthwhile story to cover.

Instead, at 11:00 pm, the two “official” beams were turned off.  Sources at the site were told that this was to conserve energy and the beams would not be put back on until the next evening.  (Note that this had not occurred in any other year.)  So the AE911T group turned off their beam, packed up, and left the site.

However, sometime between 11:30pm and midnight, the two “official” beams were turned back on, and remained on for at least another hour or two.

Oddly, not only was the existence of the third beam not reported on at all by any media - despite being clearly visible, particularly from their vantage point at Ground Zero - but they did not even report on why the two “official” beams were turned off for a short period of time.  Of course, it is likely that they would have claimed that there was a brief power failure, or some other phony story.  But it seems pretty obvious that they turned off the two “official” beams simply to get AE911T to turn off the third beam and leave the scene.

Still, the third beam shone brightly for about two hours, and was a thrill to see.  Those attending the 9/11 Truth conference on Walker Street (at which Mr. Gage was presenting) were able to engage people on the street who were curious about the third beam.  As expected (based on past interactions with the “man on the street”), well more than half of those people were not even aware that a third building had come down on September 11, 2001.

Mr. Gage was presenting at the conference on a panel called “The Science of 9/11 - Myths & Miracles,” along with chemist Dr. Neils Harrit (Univ. of Copenhagen), physicist Crockett Grabbe (Univ. of Iowa), and Kevin Ryan, formerly of Underwriters Labs.

So yes, the crowds are attracted to a cult of personality type, and once the ‘popular’ consensus is reached, that person simply designates vice president, the informal seat of power / delegation.

such a symbol of our moral superiority, why then has it resulted in nothing more than
the senseless murder of Iraqis and the creation of a military welfare state? We are, and

Well, when you reach the point of saying there were no planes when hundreds of people at the scene saw planes, some people are going to become exasperated, whereas others will react to it as humor.  The idea of people sneaking thousands of pounds of explosives into a public building was pretty far-fetched, but it might have been within the realms of possibility.  But no planes when we saw planes….  that’s a bit much.  In fact, I’d say it’s an indication that the game is pretty well played out.

9-11 will no doubt become a milestone in US History. Unfortunately, it may become a mill-stone tied to our collective necks as we drown in our sea of debt, brought on by our war on terrorism.

I didn’t witness any of the 4-fatefull flights. I only saw the telvision account of the 2nd plane striking the tower. I was obviously very concerned for even my safety, as I was 1500-miles from home and was scheduled to fly back home in 2-days, which was obviously canceled forcing me to find other means of transportation.
My concerns for my persoanal safety was compounded as I watched the first tower fall. I was always led to believe that the skyscraper design would prevent catastropic failure. I know that the heat from burning fuel, building material, and office furnishings is not adequate to seriously weaken the gigantic steel columns that support such a structure. I have worked in the steel fabrication industry for more than 50-years. I have tested steel that had been subjected to an intense fire for more than 24-hours; there was very minor change in structural integrity. I have a steel grate in my fireplace that is in direct contact with a roaring hot fire for at least 6-months of every year for the past 36-years. It hasn’t melted away, as has been claimed of the steel in the twin-towers. However, I do know that there is material (thermite) readilly available that can be used to rapidly melt 4-inch thick steel; it is used by the railroad maintenance crew to weld in new or replacement rails for the rail-lines that cross our nation.

There is also one other factor that has never been mentioned in any report I have read. What kind of logic was used to explain why the asbestos fire-proofing failed to provide protection to the steel? The fire only burned for less than an hour, I doubt if the steel even reached a temperature where it would have been weakened enough to start to bend or break.
I don’t know what kind of demolition explosives were used; I do know it wasn’t jet-fuel combusting in natural air.

I also know we should all fear the unknown factor in this entire fiasco.

FRTothus—I think the probability that all the eyewitnesses were mistaken is very, very, very low.  One might say infinitesimal to the point of absurdity.  At around 9 in the morning, the streets of lower Manhattan are crowded with people going to work.  There were plenty of witnesses.  If you were to try the no-planes theory out on them I think you’d get some interesting responses.

Incidentally, this is the first time I’ve heard the theory that there were no planes at all.  Next I suppose someone will come up with the theory that the World Trade Center was never actually destroyed.  After all, it could have been raptured up by the Saturnian ant men.

Well put!

Are we supposed to believe the conspiracy fanatics or the people who were there, the people we actually KNOW?

My oldest friend ran out into the street after the first plane hit and watched as the second plane flew over his head and crashed into the other tower. He saw body parts falling and ran for his life.  But I’m supposed to believe that he’s part of a giant conspiracy to lie to world and never saw anything of the sort.

“Hundreds of people in New York City personally and
directly witnessed the planes.  Fables about the
planes not existing must wait until they die off.”
says Anarcissie.  I don’t mean you any offense here,
brother, but would you allow that all of those people
who saw “airplanes” in fact saw and heard “air craft”
and likely mistook it/them for what the media told
them they saw? Is it possible? ...

No.  Planes flying under 1000 feet over lower
Manhattan are pretty distinct.  They gather a lot of
attention, too, since (as you can imagine) very few
planes are flown over downtown Manhattan at under
1000 feet.  Moreover, if people witness a plane
flying into a building, they do not wait for the
media to tell them what they saw.  They turn to
neighboring passers-by and engage in excited
conversation:

“Didja see that?  A big plane just flew into the
building!”

“Yeah!  What the hell!”  And so on.

Most 9/11 fabulists wisely have not tried to
contradict the hundreds or thousands of eyewitnesses
who saw large airplanes, not missiles or flying
saucers.  As I said, you’ve got to wait for these
people to die off.

I don’t allow there were as many witnesses as you
propose, but regardless…

Are you saying that it is not possible that people
were mistaken?  Is that your position?

Yes indeed, I agree that September 11 happened to us all, and by all I don’t mean only Americans, but rather all humanity.

A surprisingly insightful comnment for which I thank you.

It was a result of all the wrongs and injustices in the world since WWII, a major part of it perpetrated or enabled by the American military industrial complex while the sheep-citizens were either asleep or intoxicated with their successive governments’ misleading propaganda!

I agree, at least in part, with this assessment but reserve the right to expand upon it. The ills that trouble our planet, that lead us to such injustice that nineteen people can be convinced to sacrifice themselves in a protest of such magnitude, can be laid at the door of Capitalism.

Rampant, out of control, extremist economics that puts endless profit before all else, that sacrifices the worker, the sanctity of pride in product, the satisfaction in doing something well and thriving at it, the inability to accept a modest profit that satisfies all, the maker, the seller, the end user, the sacrifice of the environment in an all consuming search for more and more profit, all contribute to a world of have-nots and a small coterie of have-it-alls.

RayLan—people also like death and disaster for their own sakes.  If a meteor had destroyed the World Trade Center we’d still have a lot of carrying-on.  It’s the same reaction as drivers slowing down in order to gawk at—and savor—a highway accident, especially a bloody one.

You’re right, though, in saying that almost no one is going to connect terrorism with imperialism.  That’s because almost no one, at least in the U.S., reads history.

The nationalistic sentimental glut-fest of the 9/11 memorial in which Americans get to dramatize themselves on the global stage as the Victim of those evil non-Christians Middle Easterners.
It seems there is no end to American self-approbation and complacency, the self-same hubris that incites acts of terror, though I’m not justifying it but we need to look at ourselves to see how our behavior has provoked violent reactions.
When has the US taken reponsibility for its foreign policies and atrocities?
We have no justifiable basis to play the role of Innocent Victim.

No.  Planes flying under 1000 feet over lower Manhattan are pretty distinct.  They gather a lot of attention, too, since (as you can imagine) very few planes are flown over downtown Manhattan at under 1000 feet.  Moreover, if people witness a plane flying into a building, they do not wait for the media to tell them what they saw.  They turn to neighboring passers-by and engage in excited conversation:

“Didja see that?  A big plane just flew into the building!”

“Yeah!  What the hell!”  And so on.

Most 9/11 fabulists wisely have not tried to contradict the hundreds or thousands of eyewitnesses who saw large airplanes, not missiles or flying saucers.  As I said, you’ve got to wait for these people to die off.

It was a result of all the wrongs and injustices in the world since WWII, a major part of it perpetrated or enabled by the American military industrial complex while the sheep-citizens were either asleep or intoxicated with their successive governments’ misleading propaganda!

It was the result of many festering wounds that when they broke open the result was spilled blood of those who were in the wrong place at the wrong time!

But the real question after all these years is this:
Have we learned the lessons of 9/11? And the sad answer, in my humble opinion, is, “No we have not!”

**************************

I rarely agree with anything that Arabian Sinbad posts so to read this unusually insightful post from him is a rare pleasure.  Yes, our actions since WWII HAVE contributed to 9/11 (and is seems that AS accepts that the attackers were a small, fanatical extremist and violent group that are “Muslims” the way Eric Rudolph and Timothy McVeigh are “Christians”).

More importantly our actions since 1981 have contributed to the frustration that lead to the attacks on 9/11.  But, as AS hints by “a major part of it perpetrated or enabled by the American military industrial complex” another part of the blame can fall on other leaders in the world who, rather than dealing with the fundamental problems of their nations as best they could, chose instead to rape them for personal gain.

Even Yasir Arafat managed to sock away over a billion US$, and we’ve just read the Hamid Karzai blocked an investigation where 3 billion US$ was “moved” out of Afghanistan to Dubai, (our US taxpayers’ money) while millions of Afghanis are some of the poorest people on Earth.

Combine corruption on one side with imperialism on the other and you have a recipe for violence by the extremist elements of those caught in the middle.  None of the leadership of the world gets off scot-free (except, ironically, possibly Castro).  Add to the mix the right-wing religious fascists (see above about “Muslims” and “Christians” and now add “Jews”) in Israel, who, despite being a minority have held that nation to an impossible and inflammatory path, and the clear-cut paths to peace and settlement and PROSPERITY have been cut off. Why? On all sides a desire to FORCE the others to one will.

AS also catches that 9/11 happened to ALL of us, shaking the world.  For years now the radical extreme right-wing in America has tried to separate out a fundamental truth: The WTC was in New York City, that bastion of Blue-State liberalism, where even the Republicans have to be liberals.  To hear the right-wingers narrative, SOMEHOW, 9/11 didn’t include the liberal, commie, islamofascist-sympathizing North-East or “Warshingdon”.  Yet that’s EXACTLY where the attacks were: NYC and Washington.  It’s like how over 2000 years many Christians tried to create a narrative where Jesus wasn’t “really” a Jew.

For once I’m also in total agreement with Anarcissie.  Yeah, THOUSANDS of people saw those planes hit the towers.  They didn’t imagine it. They didn’t “see” a commercial jet that was “really” military, they saw a jet-liner.

Robert Fisk, writing in The Independent recently, wonders if the entire world has gone completely mad. The so-called “war on terror” initiated by the events of NINE ONE ONE, whose official narrative has some dubious assertions that will never be looked into, for fear of either being called a conspiracy nut case or by actually revealing a truth that seems unthinkable, especially to those who still adhere to the notion that U.S. government policies are actually designed to protect them from the boogie man.
The language symbols of jingoistic mythology have been incorporated into the everyday vocabulary. Thus, I am told that that POTUS’s job Number One is to protect the American people from any internal external threats to the “homeland”.
It does not seem to matter that this description of the President’s job is also a false one. The corporate owned media abuses language nearly all the time. In fact. if something hits an emotional button, no matter how inaccurate, the news folks will run with it until it is completely used up and buried deep into the dried-up ground.
And it is also an enormously big “never mind” to ever bring up the United States collusion with its number one foreign military welfare recipient Israel, and how that exacerbates the continual hornets nest that is The Middle East. Representative Ron Paul discovered this, when he was denounced by his Republican brethren for simply asking, if someone attacks you, wouldn’t you want to know why?
No, there is no room to consider what sort of injustice, real or simply perceived, that prompted such irrational action. It seems that the U.S. “war on terror” is a very selective one indeed. To this very day, terrorist rules need not apply to robot missile drone attacks launched on North Waziristan, where suspected militants (one thousand plus,at last count) are blown apart, without any previous notice.
President Obama, for all of his audacity to be slippery, can only fool a portion of the people in the United States, when he claims to be seeking peace, rather than the actual continuous wars of never ending conflict. His hegemonic “vision” does not jibe with reality, and the people in this world know this, even if there is very little they can do about it.
It is no surprise that the Obama admintration’s military budget is the largest in U.S. history. The former junior senator from Illinois has often spoke of wanting the finest fighting force, with the greatest lethality, to ensure our peaceful global intentions. And how often has he told us, he will defend Israel, down to our very last shekel. The Zionist lobby will extract every concession possible from Barack Obama, and when the President no longer serves any useful purpose, they will discard him quickly, as a damaged piece of worn out luggage.

brother, but would you allow that all of those people
who saw “airplanes” in fact saw and heard “air craft”
and likely mistook it/them for what the media told
them they saw? Is it possible?  People can be
mistaken, and often are about what they see out of
the corner of their eye, especially when the “news”
and all of the TV images are endlessly saying and
showing planes.  Could you tell a cruise missile from
a US military plane from a passenger jet you didn’t
really see (except on TV)?  Yes the people saw
“something” heard “something”.  It flew through the
air - it had jet engines.  It MUST have been a plane.
Look, it’s on TV.  Case closed.
But let us suppose for the moment you are correct,
and it was a plane. What kind of plane?  There is
only one live piece of footage of the first hit, and
that came out after the fact, the Naudet film.  Have
you looked closely at that film? Something flying hit
that building (and look at the color of the sky -
compare that with all the other “live footage” that
day) certainly, but a passenger jet?  Doesn’t look
like that at all, but people are suggestible when
they are in shock, look to others to confirm what
they saw. All that is certain is that something
flying hit that building, but it was not a passenger
jet.  Look at it.  It is much smaller, about the
right size for a fighter jet (which the US military
is able to fly un-manned), or an armed drone (ditto).
Do you know where those passenger jet images
originated?  They were not from the TV station’s
cameras.  There were no live feeds to any of the
major networks after that first hit.  The repeater
tower on top of the WTC was taken out by the first
strike.  The message had to be controlled. It’s part
of the Op. The message had to make clear that it was
fanatic Muslims Arabs and hi-jacked airliners,
because they were the designated Lee Harvey Oswald.
Shit, man, it’s all part of modern warfare. Psy Ops.
What do you think the Pentagon does with the billions
we feed it?  Do you honestly believe that fanatical
Muslims had the ability to pull this off against our
trillion dollar defenses?  Please!  And no one gets
fired? Please understand that the American people are
the enemy, we are the target of the propaganda, and
this contrived disaster had all the elements
Americans have been taught for years to hate. It
could not have been more made-to-order.  This has US
fingerprints all over it.  But that’s okay, friend.
I’m certain there were plenty of people in Germany
who thought “communist terrorists” burnt down the
Reichstag.

The second hit’s “plane” had all kinds of problems,
which if you had any experience with video production
you would have recognized as tell-tale glitches right
away.  You would have seen the matte layering
techniques you learned how to do in class, you would
have easily spotted the errors.  The cartoon plane
changes shapes, other shots show it in two different
places, and then there’s the Channel 4 helicopter
wide shot (the only other live shot that morning- see
the color of the sky - a shot NOT piped in by the
Pentagon) that showed the explosion, but there was no
plane.  Later when they showed it on TV though, they
could decide where the plane should be, so there are
two versions, both with the same goofy-colored matte
sky background.  Muslims had nothing to do with this,
except to be the patsies. Look at the evidence!
Watch the films for yourself. Look closely with a
skeptical eye, and you might learn something you wish
you hadn’t.

I was among those who witnessed the event and who had to live the with physical aftermath.  My workplace was three blocks from the site of the World Trade Center, so every day I went to work through checkpoints, cops, the indescribable stink, and the crowds of death and disaster tourists, many with gigantic cameras.

Part of the horror of the event, besides knowing that thousands of innocent people had been killed by lunatics, was knowing that the disaster would be used, over and over again, for everything from sententious bloviation and vacuous posturing to racist propaganda and war crimes.  And do it has.  People seem to get off on death and disaster beyond almost anything else.

September 11 happened to you all.  ‘We are all New Yorkers now.’  Enjoy, enjoy.

Well it’s been nice bantering with you.

the sound of ten thousand people crying
is the sound of ten thousand lambs bleating
the sound of a hundred thousand people singing
is the sound of ten thousand faces ticking
the sound of a hundred million people steaming
is the sound of ten thousand lovers sticking
the sound of a million people
is the sound of ten thousand keys clicking

the sounds of the city all around me
the sounds of the city dissembling me
I dance ease to the beam’s red sunset
on a blade of grass so bright and green
in the last rays of the day
I twist hiss the orange whispering leaves
on a black highway slick bright and fast
in the last haze of the day
I swim in the singed sweating lake
on a curve of light slick bright and wet
in the first shade of the daze

the sound of ten thousand people sexting
is the sound of ten thousand SAMs greeting
the sound of a hundred thousand people facing
is the sound of ten thousand phones typing
the sound of a hundred thousand people coming
is the sound of ten thousand tongues sticking
the sound of a million steeples
is the sound of ten Montezuma ships sinking

the lights of the gritty all around me
the sounds of the city assaulting me
I gascar and breeze in orange blood sunset
on a slick of oil grass blue and green
in the last days of the fates
I speed in the glowing hissing street
on a blade of steel so light and clean
in the last phase of the day
I slide in the singed magma ache
in a tight slick ass so firm and warm
in the last gasps of the city

I was giving a teacher training on 9/11—came out of a class in a junior high school in Mexico to find t.v. cameras and microphones in my face—they were wanting to interview a bilingual US citizen.

I asked what had happened, and when they asked me if I had any message for Bush, I said:  Yep, this may have been a case of what goes around comes around, or it may not have been at all—but the bottom line is that I do not trust Bush and Cheney even as far as I can throw them.

When I got loose from the t.v. folks and went to eat in my usual restaurant, I saw the obvious controlled demolition on t.v.—repeated enough times that I practically could have added up the charges.

Motive, means and opportunity.

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct one.

Especially if you follow the money and the bloodshed that’s resulted in the aftermath.

Nobody here in Mexico bought the official story—not even grade school kids.

Do you really believe that this ridiculous display of hatred and ignorance ( sorry but that is exactly what it is) is at all helpful? Tens of thousands, perhaps even hundreds of thousands have been murdered because of the same hatred and ignorance you display here.

AlQaeda has never been estimated to be more than thirty thousand radicals at best and the sum of all radical Islamists world wide is perhaps one hundred thousand at most. That there are 1.4 billion followers of Islam ( the largest organized religion existent) should make even one consumed with a testosterone induced “patriotism” consider the reality here.

Almost every action by the West has simply increased Mulsim hatred of us and made those like the Taliban more sympathetic. How really stupid we are.

It may be 50 years before an honest, serious, Historian - without a personal interest in manipulating the story, tells us all the ins and outs of 9/11. During that 50 years, I expect the 9/11 events to be memorialized by hysterical outbursts from various Religions. Each one of them the “ONLY” one peddling the Truth.

Worse yet, our elected officials and appointed bureaucrats use this cataclysmic memory as an opportunity to stir up more Fear, Hate, and support for the Military. Pearl Harbor was actually an attack on our Military by the Armed Forces of another Nation. It has always been an opportunity to honor the heroic dead and wounded. 9/11 was an attack by civilians against civilian targets. No matter who staged those attacks, our country was not invaded or attacked by another country. Just as the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing was an attack by civilians against civilians. Each of the targets may have served as a symbolic object, but the were symbols only.

Yet, we have about forgotten Oklahoma City, which like 9/11 was the result of a stark failure in common sense and Public Defense. Today, in celebration [?] of 9/11 the local newspaper has front page photos and stories about Assemblies honoring the Military at the local Middle Schools and High Schools. These have nothing to do with remembering the events of 9/11/2001, and everything to do with proselytizing teenagers to encourage them to enlist!

The rest of the stories today are focused on Fear of Minorities - both racial and religious - and/or stoking hatred of the ‘Other’. The Autocrats in Charge certainly know how to pull all our strings. And, like puppets, we willingly dance to their tune. Present company excepted, of course. I exclude those, as well, with the intelligence and education to see thru the facade of Patriotism that colors all our current events.

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere.

That makes me think that some spoiled brat, as you put it, made it a point to really manipulate all systems, business networks, all environments of the BIG MACHINE, i.e. the world-wide economy ( the idea of Babylon and the pitfalls of mass consumption due to unbridled appetite, controlled and manipulated by very few manipulating the money, commerce, social policy, ‘societal life’ in general ).... some spoiled brat(s) do this because they can’t get their kicks any other way?

And the thing is, America didn’t own this ‘thing’ as we think America to be, right?  It is something that is created when man creates things to harvest his fellow man, like an animal and treats him so… to the doers doom.

My ‘bloodline’ or ‘heritage’ or whatever is here because this bloody system wreaked havoc where my ‘blood’ happen to be living at that point in time due to whatever family tree… everyone reading this now has the same stinking historic identity residing in the US.

And no matter how many ‘Benjaminz’ or Francs or Sterling or Gold or whomever your great granddaddy murdered to give you your worldly kingdominiom of crapazpoid square house living and tattered ‘throne,’ sorry sucker, is irrelevant, because we all carry our conscience through life ( no matter how bad some ignore it, to their detriment and futility ) and will struggle “IF” we get a moment or two before FINAL CHEKOUT…. , but the jokes on you, the poor few who THINK they have it all, I feel for you/them, really.

The / a seat of power, albeit it has switched hands throughout history and here again is just simply another thing to brag about in conversation to another, isn’t it, is something akin to the human experience at some level?

What other thrill is there, you suppose?

Absolute decadence?  Absolute power corrupts absolutely, someone coined, and that!?  Who’d want to test for themselves?

Well, some folks just happened to be pedigreed that way, unfortunately for them!

Problem is, everyone else envies them!

How ridiculous is that?

So that insatiable appetite is never quenched unless spiritually dealt with on one’s knees…

And here you have why people get up in the morning today, to further progress a consuming madness only for the tongue to boast and eyes to envy…

It’s a slap of reality to the fundamentals of the human experience, yet ignored and blindly so… why are life’s lessons so difficult to learn?

Aren’t people fulfilled for ‘the day’ by just realizing they’re alive that day?

I wrote down a couple of hours ago-

“We only appreciate Life when considering death.”

Why can’t folks appreciate that fact that if they are still breathing, their is so much to love for, to live for, to learn, to see, to experience, to find, to realize, to discover, to appreciate, to mend, to fix, to grow, to harvest, to plow ( yes, ALL MUST WORK for their own means, it says so and makes sense, or else we’d try to take advantage of each, which is what is happening, out of fear and not love and trust ).

Yet those born in opulence, instead of giving themselves over to society as a rare specimen of walking a tight rope of social risk and reward… ( which takes a certain type of heart, only this heart cannot be ‘made’ by man, comprende? ) they instead of serving society through charity and example do so by decree and personal insecurity.

Be glad we are NOT THEM.

The dual economic system cannot sustain itself without the sifting of the mass’s lower string economy… ( insert wall street / main street analogy ).

So with that said, cut the umbilical chord / remove the fangs…

The way you remove the stranglehold of a snake…. you push the head forward from the rear in order to open its mouth… the fangs will be removed in this manner, and the snake will, by instinct, open its mouth wider than expected to assist in the process.. ( like magic, or the flip side of instinct ).

Can you read between my lines?

These supposed untouchable vipers work via obvious viper means ( big business, big industry and big government, we know who these are and can simply follow the money trail ).

Remove the viper’s means, thus removing the stranglehold… for a man may be a further threat to another only by the weapons he holds… and these are weapons we have yet to identify ‘psychologically,’ that is.

McDonald’s / Walmart / Goldman Sachs / Pharma / etc. ( insert your big company here ______ ) needs folks who don’t know enough to go at ‘it’ on their own, yet these are the market target for the message, our recourse and debates found herein… and the options / ways out THAT WORK.

Unfortunately you’ll still have minions, minstrels and maggots feeding from the crumbs disguised as empire wealth ( as opposed to REAL wealth, like your means, your life, your family, your food, your water, your home, your happiness, your peace, your community, your ecosystem, your neck of the woods )..

So yeah, we’ll still have these minions / gate keepers in government and big corp to contend with, yet they are NOT the enemy, only blinded by the enemy… which is something, unfortunately, we are all culpable and susceptible to… so we need to keep EACH OTHER in check!

Checks and balances.

QUESTION-

Why hide the knowledge of money?

Well, I think it is hidden because sly shysters are AFRAID that their schemes will be frowned upon… for anything beyond charging interest ( and interest itself being the stemming point of madness ) is evil and NOT the way to use the tool that money was invented to be, the facilitator of commerce, nothing more.

When are Americans going to stop whining and sniveling about the twin towers and pentagon events.
We lost three buildings and about 3000 dead
innocents. That’s peanuts! So far we have directly
caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands in Iraq
and Afghanistan and had thousands of U.S. armed
forces personnel throw their lives away for the
corporatist bottom-line.

In the mean time government has shredded the
Constitution and surgically removed all the remaining
dignitary that Americans might of possessed.

There are real problems to deal with. Get over it and
grow up!

9-11 is a very powerful psychological pretext.

Do not mistake the giant sucking sound coming from those who support this
ridiculous “Islamofacism” agenda. There is a forging of the war at any cost
community. If they have their way we will be in perpetual war (like we are now),
and eventually in a world wide conflagration. So humanity has to join together
to halt this never ending assault on the world, making monsters of over a
billion people, all for the enrichment of the few.

http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2010/09/09/the-meaning-of-911/

One would think that after nine years at least some of the anger,
the horror and shock of the 9/11 terrorist attacks would have dissipated: but
no. A glimpse at the headlines, a few days before the somber anniversary,
disabuses us of this hopeful notion: a crazed pastor out in the boonies
somewhere is burning Korans, and the commander of our forces in Afghanistan
feels compelled to respond, as does the President. The proposal to build a
Muslim community center blocks from “ground zero” – modeled on Jewish
community centers ubiquitous in New York – is met with furious opposition,
and the “anti-Islamization” movement spearheaded by bigots takes off, with
mosques all over the country under attack. Physical attacks on Muslims, or
people perceived as Muslim, escalate: a New York City cabbie is assaulted by a
crazed Islamophobe, and people who have lived in this country for the whole of
their lives are afraid.

What’s going on?

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2010/09/anniversary-of-911.html

Former military analyst and famed whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg said that the
case of a certain 9/11 whistleblower is “far more explosive than the Pentagon
Papers”. He also said that the government is ordering the media to cover up her
allegations about 9/11. And he said that some of the claims concerning
government involvement in 9/11 are credible, that “very serious questions have
been raised about what they [U.S. government officials] knew beforehand and
how much involvement there might have been”, that engineering 9/11 would
not be humanly or psychologically beyond the scope of the current
administration, and that there’s enough evidence to justify a new, “hard-
hitting” investigation into 9/11 with subpoenas and testimony taken under oath
(see this and this)

A 27-year CIA veteran, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates and
personally delivered intelligence briefings to Presidents Ronald Reagan and
George H.W. Bush, their Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State, the Joint Chiefs of
Staff, and many other senior government officials (Raymond McGovern) said “I
think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke”
A 29-year CIA veteran, former National Intelligence Officer (NIO) and former
Director of the CIA’s Office of Regional and Political Analysis (William Bill
Christison) said “I now think there is persuasive evidence that the events of
September did not unfold as the Bush administration and the 9/11 Commission
would have us believe

A number of intelligence officials, including a CIA Operations Officer who co-
chaired a CIA multi-agency task force coordinating intelligence efforts among
many intelligence and law enforcement agencies (Lynne Larkin) sent a joint
letter to Congress expressing their concerns about “serious shortcomings,”
“omissions,” and “major flaws” in the 9/11 Commission Report and offering
their services for a new investigation

A decorated 20-year CIA veteran, who Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative
reporter Seymour Hersh called “perhaps the best on-the-ground field officer in
the Middle East”, and whose astounding career formed the script for the
Academy Award winning motion picture Syriana (Robert Baer) said that “the
evidence points at” 9/11 having had aspects of being an inside job

I’m with you, SteveL.  The whole thing smacks of an
inside job.  No plane in the hole they dug in the
Pennsylvania countryside, but pieces of it spread out
for miles, as one would expect from its being brought
down by a missile.  No plane at the Pentagon, but a
nice hole punched through several walls of recently
re-enforced concrete, as one would expect from a
bunker-buster missile.  Cartoon images on TV of
passenger airplanes in New York, which no one who was
NOT watching TV saw (Did anyone else see the Channel
4 clear day chopper shot that showed no plane, but
did show the explosion? It happened to be the only
shot that showed the sky the color it actually was,
not the hazy yellow or pale green).  Multiple bomb
blasts in the WTCs, and 3 buildings collapsing from
controlled demolitions, floor by floor. Building 7,
housing the evidence for the WorldCom and Enron
crimes, as well as all kinds of US spook agencies and
Guliani’s emergency headquarters, put an end to that
prosecution.  I suspect Bush was taking care of a
little old business.  The point of the exercise, I
believe, was two-fold.  First, to see if the US
public would fall for it (it did), and Second, to get
public support for the invasion to oust Saddam and
get our hands on that oil of his.

Muslims did not do this. They had every reason to,
but not the means.  They could not have had access,
or have been able to control the US military command.
This operation was done with (US) military precision,
exactly according to the war game exercises that were
being carried on that day (Operations Vigilant
Guardian, Vigilant Warrior, etc.) involving
“hijackers” hijacking “passenger planes”, with Dick
Cheney at the operational helm.

London then went through a similar scenario, an
operation that “went live” the same way 9/11 did, on
7/7, to give the Brits their own Pearl Harbor, to
make sure they would be among the handful of the
coalition of the duped.
Problem with the Pearl Harbor analogy is that Pearl
was a military colony of the US, and the Japanese
attacked the military base (not civilian centers, as
the US does) in retaliation for US acts of war
against them (such as the oil blockade the US
imposed).  The evidence there indicates that not only
did the US know the attack was coming, but they had
all the battleships (old navy) lined up neatly to
serve as sitting duck targets, while the carrier
groups (new navy) were elsewhere.

The battleship Maine, the Reichstag Fire, the Gulf of
Tonkin, and there are many more examples of
governments staging “attacks” and then blaming their
designated target as the perps.

There is one constant in all of this:  Governments
lie, will kill their own citizens without a second
thought to achieve their goals, and nothing any
public official says should be believed.

Yes, 9/11 happened to us all. I was in India when the attacks happened…I’ve
chronicled what I saw then half a world away and what I’m seeing now, having
witnessed eight anniversaries of the event in America: http://bit.ly/bCao1N

So did Pearl Harbor happen to us all, big time, but
we didn’t turn that tragedy into a side-show like
this so-called commemoration of 9/11 has morphed
into.

Let’s face it. Religion in any mix invariably brings
out the crazies, the side-show is launched and the
tragedy becomes somehow trivialized. Rather than
asking ourselves what we may have done to piss off
some people to the point of losing their own lives to
get back at us, we instead blame the whole tragedy on
a religion.  If we did the former rather than the
latter, we just might prevent another 9/11.

FBI claim that FBI 9/11 records are exempt from public disclosure under the
Freedom of Information Act.  Anywhere from dozens to hundreds of cameras
around the Pentagon on 9-11.  Yet no images of what crashed into Pentagon.  My
B.S. meter reads full scale.
