Democrats to Employ Man Who Played Obama During 2008 CampaignPosted on Oct 3, 2010Fake news by Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON—With just a month remaining until the crucial midterm elections, worried Democrats have decided to reach out to the man who played Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign, Democratic Party officials confirmed today. “We were sitting around thinking of who we could put out there on the campaign trail to get people energized again,” said Democratic National Chairman Tim Kaine. “And then I was like, what about that guy who played Obama in ’08? He was amazing!” Though Democratic incumbents have been shying away from appearing with President Obama at rallies in recent weeks, they are “totally jazzed” about making joint appearances with the man who portrayed Obama in 2008, Kaine said. “When we put the word out that we were reaching out to the guy who used to play Obama, the reaction was phenomenal,” he said. “People were like, ‘I loved that guy.’ ” Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin echoed the sentiment of many Democratic officeholders when he heard that the man who played Obama during the 2008 race might be hitting the road again soon: “I was leery about appearing with the president onstage, but that other guy, come on, he was unbelievable.” Advertisement Fox News offered scant coverage of the Democrats’ plans, other than to report that neither President Obama nor the man who played him in 2008 was born in the U.S. Award-winning humorist, television personality and film actor Andy Borowitz is author of the book “The Republican Playbook.” © 2010 Creators Syndicate New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. Let’s nominate Pat Paulson for President. I can still picture him at a fake fundraiser hunched over a chicken dinner. His mode of talk was taken over by all the candidates who followed from Ronnie Reagan to Barack Obama.
Let’s recall Dr. Irwin Corey as a speech writer.
Instead of using ‘So’, he’d begin each speech with ‘However.’
Turn the whole thing into a carnival. With all this $dough going into campaigns, I’m sure that more of us lessers and losers could be included to give us a break from such leadership seriousness.
Let’s turn it into a national carnival. Let’s have some fun. Laissez the bon temps roulez!

Just remember: Quitters never fail, and failures never quit.
Americans are getting it from both ends. Thank God there are enough fat-ass, brain dead voters to carry the Tea Party this far. And they have quite a bit of help from Democrats.
Remember that Congressman from PA who was elected in 2008 and left office last year. He was a Navy Commander. How soon I’ve forgotten his name.
Well, I saw him on the campaign trail and he was being watched by Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel was to determine if this guy was going to get Democratic Party cash to further his campaign. Rahm pulled him aside and told him that his speech was to angry. He had to tome it down.
Now less than a year later, the press is hailing the success of the Tea Party because of its anger.
Some Whimps hold a rally to match Glenn Beck and what do they come up with, watered down reprisals of Martin Luther King’s speech.
I’l show you how to get attention and how to make voters sit up and listen. Just start telling the God’s honest truth.
We do not want ‘rousing’; we do not want pilaver; we do not want to hear the word justice or any of those terms that can be used by the ‘other side’. We want the Goddamn truth.
How do you plan to screw us?
Can we trust on another war? This time with Pakistan? How about South American targets? Let’s haul them into our net.
Republicans and Democrats have nailed it. Corporations are holding on to trillions. Municipal and state workers who have a security are being attacked. Teachers are, for all purposes, gone.
They don’t want to look at the other parts of education: Administration, Parents, Students and teachers. It’s like hunting. Pick off the least defended. All the while it’s a plan. A plan by Wall Street investors.
In their world, only the ones who conform to their way of thinking will work and be educated, and won’t it be fine.

“Well, one term was enough to put up with the failures of Barak Obama as
President of the United States; promising changes and not carrying them out
or, perhaps to be accurate, not being allowed to carry them out, would
demoralize anyone.”
At least someone, who felt the least little bit appreciative of what the citizens
had done to get him into office, would have sat down an had some modern day
“Fireside Chats” and explained to the people how and why our Constitution was
being trashed. But then, we’d probably be ready about Grassy Knoll II.
Anyone who had so intentionally and successfully dodged the bullet about

We should put 2008 Obama’s picture on a milk carton; apparently he was abducted from Chicago’s south-side and is being held hostage in the basement of Goldman Sachs. Suspects in his abduction include Lucky Emanuel, Scarface Summers and Bugsy Geithner.

A fake Obama speaking at real-life political rallies is a stupid idea. If politicians now acknowledge that they are just actors, I want to know who are the political elite’s producers, writers and directors.

No longer will the president be a maverick but only a close watcher of popularity
Report thispolls. He will not take on any unpopular tasks like raising taxes, or cutting social
programs, but at the same time he will not anger the MIC by reducing defense
spending. Expect him to continue his meaningless sweet talk to pacify the voters.

Andy must be referring to the Obama who, before the election, voted on the side of the telecommunications companies regarding FISA; and who stated several times he was all for the War in Afghanistan.
I’ll pass on both people.

I liked that Barak Obama guy who talked of billions for green jobs, transparency
in government, ending Gitmo, and ending “stupid wars,” while criticizing
Hilary’s vote for the Iraq war.
And B.S. Obummer, who escalated in Afghanistan, did not bring us green jobs,
continued BUSH’s TARP bailout, advocated for a captive market for the
insurance companies that ruined U.S. health care, and is currently advocating
for increased spy powers on the internet?

The change in Obama is not primarily Obama’s fault. Stop the pressures on him from big money and the Pentagon and see a vast change for the better.
The fact that the millions who supported him have not found a way or ways to stop the inside-the-beltway obstructionism, the bribery of politicians, the stupid decision of SCOTUS on corporation donations, plus the military fingers in every pie in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, plus—yet one more thing—the lying, bought-and-sold media and an overgrown “surveillance” system—plus the economic crunch yet!—what on earth would any half-way intelligent person expect?
To an outsider it does appear like an across-the-board determination to make the guy fail—not surprising to anyone who recognizes racism for what it is in America—rotten, underhanded and persistent, and with insufficient counteraction from people who call themselves liberals/progressives who seem to have had enough gumption to vote for him but not enough to support it against underhanded oppositioin.
What is appalling is that the majority of people seem paralyzed by fear and rather than trying to correct any of the above obvious causes of social malaise would rather hang it all on Obama. That’s cowardly/sick!

All the news is fake since all the media outlets in America are run as a wing of the Republican Party. Why pretend only this version of events is fake? If it isn’t Barack Obama it will be people like John Bonehead and Sarah Palin and Mitch McConnell and John (bomb Iran) McCain. Which is worse? Gee, I just can’t think. It’s like asking if Pol Pot would be worse than Confucius. Anyone who needs to think about that shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
