I should have listened to the audio. The rate of unwarranted deportations was 9/100’s of one percent. I don’t see how this citizen employment enhancement program should be closed down for such a small rate of failure. Some of the deported fraudulently claim Mexican citizenship in order to avoid criminal charges under their American citizenship. If the statute says alien then alien it is. That’s lawful terminology. I am tired of people trying to change the language in order to suit their agendas.

The ‘Global War on Terror,’ has now revealed its true nature. This natural progression is part of the ‘terror’ war and we are the recipients of a ‘strong empirical presidency.’
At no time in the past has the Immigration and Customs Enforcement ever detained and deported citizens of the United States, whether naturalized or citizens who were born here. The ICE is detaining people based upon a certain set of criteria, the colour of one’s skin, or the heritage one has, has now become the determining factor with regards to detention and eventual deportation. The has happened because the government in its simplistic minds has refused to pass legislation with regards to simplifying the process of immigration to the US.
No coherent policy exists for the rights of immigration into the US and I believe that now, with the declining birthrate of ‘white’ native born citizens, we will see much more of this kind of discriminatory act against those of Hispanic origin.
A changing demographic has shifted the priorities of those in power and it is high time that the citizens of the US face the facts that we are fast becoming a minority in the US. It is not ‘our’ country, but a country of the citizenry of the US, wherever one happens to be from.
As for the Obama administration’s lack of response to this eventually growing and discriminatory crisis,
one need only look at the ‘torture’ issue to see that
President Obama, needs to set his priorities and do this fast.
We are living in the age of terror, the citizenry is scared out of their wits and nothing is doing anything to change that mindset.
