Was Helicopter Deal a Tool in Bush’s War Scam?

A fleet of 28 Italian-made helicopters, each more expensive than the last Air Force One, was set to replace the current generation of presidential helicopters, one of which is pictured here. Public outcry over the price put the project in doubt, but there’s a lot more to be concerned about.

You may have heard about the scandalously overpriced presidential helicopters the U.S. had ordered from Italy, but did you know they may have been a payoff for forged intelligence used to sell the war in Iraq? It's all a part of "a web of conspiracy and deceit," says journalist Paolo Pontoniere.

Yes, outraged. You’re absolutely right. The Pentagon is surround by several anti-aircraft batteries controlled by a computer which is programmed to shoot down any plane in Pentagon airspace that doesn’t have a military transponder on board. For a plane to hit the Pentagon, someone would have had to disable or re-program that computer, which then means they knew in advance of the attack. But it wasn’t necessary to disable or alter the computer because what actually hit the Pentagon was a ballistic missile, fired from, yes, a military helicopter, which was seen by several people in the Pentagon as it flew away around to the back of the Pentagon where there is a helipad. Many of the people who survived the attack described smelling cordite, in other words explosives, as soon as they got outside the building. None of them smelled jet fuel and none of them saw the wreckage of a plane. A plane couldn’t possibly drill through all that reinforced concrete in any case. The story is just plain silly.

The facts are beginning to trickle out.  As far as 9/11 goes, the clincher for me was that even IF some group could fly a plane into the World Trade Towers, how in the hell could you hit the pentagon and NOT be shot down?

The pentagon, as the command center for the largest military presence in history…. supposedly hit by some foreign mediocre regional bandits!  To attempt to qualify that reality is beyond fantasy, it’s simply too bizarre.

This article and the one amunaor linked to (thanks, btw), highlights our shadow government operations.  We do have decent people in our government, but we also have the worst of the worst.  Time for some spring cleaning.

Could it have something to do with this?

Recently, a former president of Italy, Francesco Cossiga, said in an interview with the newspaper, Corriere della Sera (November 30, 2007), that “democratic elements in America and Europe, with the Italian center-left in the forefront, now know that the 9/11 attack was planned and executed by the American CIA and Mossad in order to blame the Arab countries, and to persuade the Western powers to undertake military action both in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Apparently, the Italian media has not offered a clarification and Cossiga’s statement has not been reported by a US newspaper or TV channel.

Ethnic slurs and snide remarks aside, I think we should all take comfort in the knowledge that when the American economy was sliding steadily into the toilet, our former President had the wisdom and foresight to “buy American”.

Do these sleek babies come with built-in microwaves or pizza ovens?
