Hillary’s Unassailable StrategyPosted on Nov 4, 2007In what some observers are calling a strategic masterstroke to avoid missteps in her quest for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Hillary Clinton will spend the rest of her campaign encased in a soundproof glass box, aides confirmed today. Award-winning humorist, television personality and film actor Andy Borowitz is author of “The Republican Playbook.” Previous item: Dems Tread Lightly on Immigration Next item: Robert Scheer Debates Ralph Nader Elsewhere: . Andy - I’m all for it as long as they remove all the oxygen before they put her in it.

I have seen people manhandled for saying the “wrong” things in her presence. There was a woman who was given the bum’s rush for yelling “Queen Hillary!” There have been numerous youths who have been given the exit whenever they ask about 9-11. The same happens whenever some heckler inquires about her appearances at Bilderberg conferences. I have never seen such an Iron Maiden in my life. She makes Dick Cheney look friendly. I get so tired of these Democratic stalwarts from the Woodstock generation working themselves up in lather over some youth who knows more about Caroll Quigley than many political scientists. Look! You are brainwashed. Take some time with your teenagers. I know it is scary that there are young’uns who actually think the government would murder Americans on purpose. I think Bill Mahr epitomizes the out of touch baby boomer Dem-lib, who thinks we just need to keep voting Democrat and that will solve everything.
I have never seen such a control freak candidate like Hillary. She seems to have what it takes to be a dictator. I think those meetings with elites in controlled environments where the help doesn’t speak until spoken to, and no matter what, all waiters and maids keep their eyes averted from the special ones. I don’t care if you are a Democrat. Do you really want to vote for that creature?

Politics is ridiculous. Made even more so by the notion that supporters know what their politician is all about.
When it comes to finding something ridiculous and then focusing on the ridiculous, there is no better candidate than the candidate!
When people become so convinced that “Their” candidate is the only hope of salvation, the ridiculous Move(s)On to the absurd!
Besides, Hillary having been selected by main-stream-media is the least likely person to become the next president. I stand amazed no-body has figured that out!
Remember Kerry?
Why did MSM anoint Kerry, while destroying the front runner Dean?
Because the attack dogs, the masters who control MSM, were waiting in the wings ready to destroy Kerry!
I cant believe Hillary hasn’t figured that out!
But then again, maybe her willingness to embrace the war and the torture and the illegal wiretaps and the failing economy and the fixed elections and the concept of unilateral presidency, a nice way to say “dictator”, has put her in the “acceptable” category for the oligarchs who really drive the leaders who lead us gently down to hell.
Maybe they’ll fix the election for her this time. Maybe that’s what she’s counting on.
And just to save you all a little time when you express your outrage about what I have said Hillary embraces, a simple question.
Has she called for impeachment?
I didn’t think so.
Ridiculous? Yeh, so ridiculous it’s positively painful!

When she isn’t casually laughing off the issues or putting on the sourpuss pout, Hillary Clinton often wears an expressionless mask. The best way to push the Hillary bandwagon, it’s true, is to keep Hillary out of the picture.
I actually heard Eleanor Cliff—like many of those inside-the-beltway professional woman who promote Hillary as one of their own, snip about the Democrats who legitimatized Republican attacks by confronting Hillary in the last debate. They would like nothing better than to put her in a pumpkin shell on a pedestal.
Can we PLEASE turn the page on the Clintons and all their royal flaks and hacks?

Agree with most of your comment to Douglas C., I Most of what you stated, makes sense, but the following. Did you forget to say “not get it”? Otherwise please explain.
you stated:
“One example of their absurdities: all of them have free government-provided healthcare, yet often make it seem they are reaching deep into their souls to explain why the rest of us should get it. “
The only candidates running on anything close resembling truth are Ron Paul, Mike Gravel and Kucinich. Since they do not fit the mold of the mass media, plus they have much less money for advertising, we may not see them much longer.
Douglas, your attack on Sheer is lacking in humor, even though I find the article not so great also.

Uhh, talk about “nils cognizant”, ha ha. If you read some of my other posts, you’ll see what I think about most politicians being lawyers - just know that I am deadly serious, though.
Hillary is forging her own path separate from her husband’s former presidency and with him or without him. It takes something for the old guard to acknowledge that a woman with womans’ rights is going to be their next president.
Pelosi and Clinton and a few others will use AIPAC and dump them conclusively when they still want to run America from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. That’s politics. A new world order is being formed on the other side of the Pacific and the USA will have to learn to live with it.

Hi Douglas, You have passion. I like that in an opinion writer. I disagree with you a little though. This site is the best I’ve seen so far for its willingness to publish opposing and wide-ranging perspectives. Good site security and access to unregistered posters like me as well. Whether a comic or not, each author of an article has a duty to himself to be freely expressive. This short piece by Borowitz was an extremely mild dig at Hillary and was kind of funny. Down farther I’ll offer my assessment of Senator Clinton but for now just recognize that we’re talking about politicians, most of whom are lawyers. They write the laws then get to make a living jerking the legal system around. Both major political parties conduct business in similar ways, often keeping out the best new blood, like Ohio’s Paul Hackett, because the newcomer does not conform with Party dictates. These are politicians for Christ’s sake, they are not people who deserve or need to be coddled. One example of their absurdities: all of them have free government-provided healthcare, yet often make it seem they are reaching deep into their souls to explain why the rest of us should get it. So my wish for you is that you have some fun with your comments and try not to take things so seriously. Now I’ll tell you why you need to take Hillary’s defects more seriously. Mrs. Clinton is inconsistent, voting for the Bush invasion, decrying it 4 years later then voting for a 2nd aggression, this time against Iran. Only seven years ago, as First Lady, Mrs. Clinton stated strongly the Palestinians had to have some of their land returned so that they could form a cohesive State and begin providing education and healthcare to their families. Today, she is dead-set against this. Finally, she insists abortion is a matter of women’s rights. In fact, it is the higher order issue of torture.
The good news for you and your candidate is that no one ever listens to me anyhow.
Peace~

I don’t know what’s award-winning in denigrating the only person in politics in America who is likely to help you, uhh. It has gone beyond the ridiculous when professional comedians can attack the most successful presidential candidate in such an offensive way.
Why don’t we just say that Robert Sceer coudn’t succeed in getting Hillary into bed while he was conducting his “interviews” for his book and has been resentful ever since. Thus the recurring articles attacking her on this site.
Well, he won’t get the chance to interview the first woman president of the United States so its just as well he published his lousy book now anyway. Grow up, Scheer! The Republicans are only using you…...

AB- At this one year mark till the election, your nodding endorsement of Hillary’s vinegary solution to Hilspeak (in my book dilspeak) brings me back to one episode of The Twilight Zone. One nice but wordy member of a Men’s social club is challenged by another (not so nice) to refrain from speaking for one year. The man, in need of the large cash wager, accepts the challenge and, standing tall, emerges the victor one year later. It turns out there were two problems with this plan: the rude challenger, in fact, had no money with which to make good on the wager. The second, sadly, was that the desperate silent wagerer had been so much in need that he had, just before the appointed start of the challenge, had his vocal chords surgically severed.

BREAKING:
Mattel has entered into contract negotiations with the Clinton campaign to develop the “Girl in a Glass Cage” Barbie collectable.
Agreement hinges on whether or not the doll can be removed from the cage without sacrificing a cut to Hillary. One thing has been settled on though. The doll will respond with a high-pitched unexpected laugh when asked certain political questions. According to Ms. Clintons Marketing Director, Lolita Bolita, “We still haven’t reached agreement on which political questions will be acceptable.”
But Rollo Boilen, speaking for Mattel said,” It doesn’t matter, because even if the questions are limited, we have agreed the doll will spin and wave when a child winds the built in music box.”
When asked what the music box would play, he responded, “Hail to the Chief!”
Meanwhile Barak Obama is busy recording his new album, tentively titled, “It Aint Over ‘till it’s Over Baby.”
