So, this thread, a catalog of anti-white male bile and scorn, is apparently an example of what passes for “progressive” thought.  What is “progressive” about this kind of mindless drivel?

Minorities cannot rule majorities by main force alone.  Politics, the art and science by which the (cunning) few exploit the many, works on the principle of “divide and conquer.”  Race, sex, and class are very real and emotion-laden concepts that can be exploited profitably by those who set themselves up as the arbiters of what is “fair”, “just”, and “equitable.”  The saying that “all men are created equal” referred to the ideal that all should be treated equally before the law.  It did not mean that all are equal in intelligence, physical strength, integrity, courage, etc.  To claim the latter is an absurdity.

I just can’t believe the ignorance of our species anymore. Especially the “leaders” we have to choose from anymore, that still, dial in on your race or color to choose who they want to support them.

I would have thought by now, we could have ALL gotten over the color-race thing. I’ve always tried to look past the color or where you came from and looked at what was on the INSIDE. Guess I woke up this morning in a country that is no longer the “melting pot” of the world, where I thought ALL HUMAN BEINGS, had the opportunity to pursue LIFE, LIBERTY, & HAPPINESS!

Another thing that really gets me going is this “African-American”, “Mexican-American”, Asian-American”, etc thing. If anyone wants my vote,  they better prove to me that they’re smarter at their job than just decifering what color or race you are, and come across with the attitude, WE’RE ALL JUST AMERICANS, and start treating the American People with the just respect and dignity we deserve.

That is, unless they’re completely ignoring the fact that “ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL” while throwing everything else this country has stood for, and believed in for over 200 years away in their political agenda.(CAREERS)

Maybe we ought to contact Pearl Vision, and see if they could provide our government leaders, and evidently a large percentage of the American People, with “ROSE COLORED GLASSES!” That way, everyone they looked at or dealt with,... would all be PINK !
Besides, aren’t we all PINK on the INSIDE ?!

I’ve had the best idea yet. Since my “rated race quality” has been diminished,(the RED-NECK AMERICAN RACE)to near extinction, I’m writing my Congressman today and demanding that a new race be acknowledged in this country. The Red-Neck Americans. Hell I’m going to start a new 6th party for this next election, and nominate Larry the Cable Guy for President, with Ron Engvall or Jeff Foxworth for V.P.

Maybe it’s time we all refused to vote for “Professional Career Politicians” that are only concerned with your color or race, or how they can lie to us and screw us out of more hard earned tax dollars for the projects of the pigs… and vote for someone that is at least honest, and has a sense of humor.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m kind of sick of their humor, that I guess they think is funny.

All the presidential candidates are hardly white males. Two of the front-runners:
  Recovering “angry black man” Obama, who is rumored to have a white mother who could not care for him alone, and whose white parents raised him after his black father decided to abandon his new family for a “token black” scholarship at Harvard in the sixties, then moved on to discover his “African” roots in Nigeria.  No word on Obama ever saying “thanks” to his “white-racist” grandparents.
    Oh, and Hillary, who, just before her election in New York, publically got all sentimental over her previously unmentioned, but wise and lovable “Uncle Sol,” is rumored to be female.

You mean, of course, in this instance, the “I am more pro-Israel than thou” “white European males” (excluding perhaps Guliani)?

So let’s not criticize the “I’m whiter than white” racist “white European male” who is “I’m more pro-Israel than thou”.  But tell us: how do we separate the two—racist “white European male” and “more pro-Israel than thou”—so we can criticize only the “pro-Israel” part?

That is bizarre.  Blacks were slaves for some 250 years.  Then indentured for another hundred.  Yet the white male, in effort to ignore those facts, is oppose to affirmative action because it’s “already done as intended”.

Why not allow affirmative action to last 350 years?  Because that would give it time to actually accomplish its goal: undoing the damage of 350 years of racism?

Combine racism and class, and dividing on the prior ground in service to the latter, and you’ll be closer to the fuller truth.

And what is Powell if not both a liar in service to white folk, and the willing victim of same?

Are you incapable of recognizing the exploitation of race as Bushit has done for political gain as being yet another face of racism?

Check out Nixon’s “Southern strategy,” and its conscious intent to appeal to the racists who left the Democratic party because the latter took on the issue of civil rights.  Racism may be an “old story” to you; but it is also a present reality, little concerning which has actually changed.

I’d much rather head to Capitol Hill, Fire the whole damn bunch of them, then go back and watch cartoons. Much more educational !

If whiteness is going to be the #1 criteria for competence in office, then that leaves out both Lieberman and Guliani: to the extreme right wing Jews and Italians aren’t white.  In addition to which, Guliani is probably Catholic.  (Hard to tell: Baptists aren’t opposed to divorce; so perhaps Guliani being a serial adulterer/divorcer would be viewed as a virtue.)

Shit.  And after switching to online bill payment I’m stuck with about fifty 39-cent stamps.

“Who is the whitest” should be changed “Who Is Cleanest”. In good leadership there’s no black or white but Cleanest, Stainlessnest…will be the must.

McCain also has the whitest hair.  That should be worth an additional two votes.  Should be no contest for Rove to scare those up.

I wonder . . .

Borowitz expounded on the whiteness of the GOP male candidates, saying that McCain has been whiter longer than any other candidate, and he also noted that Tommy Thompson was the whitest male named Thompson in the race, at least for the time being, but what about Fred? There is a definite darkish cast to his skin that of course may be due to his Hollywood habit of lying around the pool on days they don’t shoot Lawn Order, but he is from Tennessee, and there are lots of Tennesseeans whose ancestors went to war leaving only the black slave males behind for the women to use for solace in their loneliness, and that means that a certain number of Tennesseans who are titularly white are actually of African American heritage.

Of course I cannot say for sure that old Fred is one of those who have been “passing” for years, but it would explain why he has that darkish pigmentation, wouldn’t it? He may be related to David Thompson, an all American basketball player for NC State some years back. It would be interesting to know if he gets his acting talent from Harry Bellafonte or Sidney Poitier . . . and he does resemble Danny Glover to some degree.

He may give new meaning to the term “dark horse.”
