Was Helicopter Deal a Tool in Bush’s War Scam?

A fleet of 28 Italian-made helicopters, each more expensive than the last Air Force One, was set to replace the current generation of presidential helicopters, one of which is pictured here. Public outcry over the price put the project in doubt, but there’s a lot more to be concerned about.

You may have heard about the scandalously overpriced presidential helicopters the U.S. had ordered from Italy, but did you know they may have been a payoff for forged intelligence used to sell the war in Iraq? It’s all a part of “a web of conspiracy and deceit,” says journalist Paolo Pontoniere.

I’m trying to find the link to read the piece, since I can’t listen conveniently. Anybody know how to do that?

The link doesn’t seem to be working. I can try something else I suppose…

Just another reason why an Independent Inquiry with subpoena power is necessary.  The “questionable” (at the least), behavior of the prior Mis-administration due to this elusive, ill-defined, “War on Terror” and the powers usurped by it - need to be analyzed, some accountability needs to be made and if need be - jail time!  Why, to make sure that this type of illicit behavior is not repeated by another “Commander in Chief”, ever!!!

WHY TORTURE LISTENERS WITH NEARLY INCOHERENT WHINING AND YELLING RAP “MUSIC” AS AN INTRO TO A SERIOUS REPORT? A DAMNED SHAME! Music is a matter of taste. Why emphasize such horrible bad taste?
